Eric Sklar
Yount Ridge Cellars was born of Eric’s vision to join with an extraordinary winemaker to craft wines of the highest quality from equally exceptional Napa Valley vineyards. Eric’s family has been growing grapes in Oakville for more than 40 years.
In 2006, Eric co-founded the highly acclaimed, and wildly successful, Alpha Omega winery, where he led efforts to achieve Napa Green Land and Napa Green Winery certification.
With a passion towards environmental stewardship, Eric and his wife, Erica, are community leaders dedicated to preserving agriculture in Napa Valley.Having farmed here, and raised their children in St. Helena, The Sklar’s are firmly rooted in the traditions of the Napa Valley. Farming, hard work and pleasures of the vine all ignite a desire to fiercely protect the land that so many cherish and value.
