Napa Valley’s greatest Cabernet Sauvignon producers are in the Oakville appellation in the heart of Napa Valley. The Yount Ridge Vineyard is situated on the alluvial fan of Oakville – where its well-drained gravel soil melts down from ancient decomposed rock from the Vaca range on Napa Valley’s eastern border and Mayacamas range on the west. The estate is organically farmed and planted in small blocks to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Petite Verdot and Sauvignon Blanc- a rarity as only 8% of Oakville vineyards are planted to Sauvignon Blanc.

The vines are dusted with gentle influences from San Francisco Bay fog, keeping acidity levels high, revealing Cabernets of rich structure, intense fruit and steely, yet supple Sauvignon Blanc.
