Holiday Wishes from Yount Ridge Cellars
Happy Holidays from Yount Ridge Cellars
Dear friends,
As the rush of harvest in Napa Valley nears its end, grapevine leaves tip their hand and begin to turn all manner of orange and red; a calm descends like a fog and winter is not far behind.
I've seen many of you for private tastings putting the cave to life after sitting dormant for many years. Thank you for coming and enjoying our little slice of heaven, but more importantly, we have become friends over a lovely sip of wine.
As the year closes – one that will be known for fires again – we've put our 2019 wines safely to rest and age. But the promise of the next vintage release, like the hopes and wishes of a New Year, beckons.
To that end, we offer our richly concentrated 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon, and a remarkable Red Blend vertical of our 2006, 2007 and 2008 Proprietary Red Blends. It's a rare and excellent opportunity to discover what our amazing Oakville estate vineyard is capable of by tasting it through the years. Either of these selections would pair perfectly for the discerning wine lover on your holiday list.

If you plan to visit Napa Valley this winter, the Bed and Breakfast, The Mansion at Yount Ridge, boasts fireplaces and fire pits for the chilly nights. Wine Club members can take advantage of 20% off the nightly rate. Please contact me for more information on how to book.
We are keenly aware of the curves Mother Nature seems to be lobbing with fires, power outages, and earthquakes. Our community grieves for those who lost their winery, homes, or loved ones this time around. As we write this, the Sonoma fire is now contained. If you'd like to support rebuilding through a donation, we suggest the Sonoma County Resilience Fund at sonomacf.org.
We look forward to making more memories in 2020 and wish you a holiday season filled with wonder and delight.
Cheers,
Laura Madonna
