Very bright, energetic red fruit, spiced plums and cherry pie, hint of whole wheat wafers. Full and lush. Robert Parker's Advocate rated this 87 in a Napa Valley retrospective and an outstanding example of the vintage year drinking excellent now.

Cola, cherry, and a hint of bay leaf, a touch of raspberry, root beer, and spiced cocoa. Complex and cool. Very limited production.

Dark fruit, strong cola and black fruit, much darker than our 2008 and with a youthful texture of blackberries and fresh floral notes. The palate is bright and fresh, with a very firm core. This wine shows aging potential.

2010 Proprietary Red Blend, Yount Ridge Cellars, Oakville, Napa Valley
Nice bright cherry, in spades. Gregarious, fruitâforward, juicy aromas with just a hint of vanilla/toasty oak and a bit of candied aniseed. On the palate the fruit is reminiscent of a cherry bonbon, surrounded by sweet mocha and dark chocolate notes, also huckleberry, sweet earth and cardamom. Bright fruit dominates the entry and throughout. Youthful.

2011 Proprietary Red Blend, Yount Ridge Cellars, Oakville, Napa Valley
Dark fruit, slightly brooding with dusty cocoa, cool mint, a hint of orange peel and black chocolate. More austere in texture at entry than our 2009 or 2010, highlighting the fruit’s complexity. Sweet herb and toasty notes throughout the palate. Finish is of bright plums with a hint of fresh mint leaf, baked oats, apricot and cinnamon.
